Climbing the lighthouse at Holden Beach, North Carolina


North Carolina's Brunswick Islands is comprised of five of the southward facing islands on the coast.


One of those is Holden Beach, and there lies a historical lighthouse. Well, it's a little confusing. Because apparently, technically the lighthouse in on Oak Island. 

The Oak Island Lighthouse was built in 1958, and is about 168 feet in the air.

Guess what?
I climbed it!
