For the love of rompers

I love rompers!
Nearly a decade ago they made a comeback and I was all over the style! That is, once I got over the fact that they were not "onesies" - yanno, the type of clothing that toddlers wear.

Rompers and jumpsuits are instant outfits that can be chic, casual, timeless and dated all at the same time. The best (or worst) part is that they fit your body to show off your shape in a classy, yet sexy way.

The absolute worst part is that you literally have to get naked every time you have to go pee! I mean, all the way naked. Forget about it if you have a complicated piece (which are the one's that I am usually drawn to)! It can take 20 minutes just to use the ladies room, and you need help to undress and dress. Image result for black face palm emoji

But, besides those minor, (i.e. first-world problems) I still love them!

Check out my collection of rompers.

*Please note: I have been collecting my rompers over a few years. Many of the styles are no longer for sale. However, I have linked where you can find similar and updated looks.

THE SONG
In 2006-2007, I worked at the CNN London bureau. While there, I hung out with my friend's (then) husband, Daz-I-Que, from the famed group Bugz in the Attic. So while I worked by day in news, by night I was soaking up the music culture of the UK. In particular, broken-beat music.

In one session, I wrote and recorded this song, "Get It On", in about 15-30 minutes. The song apparently was put on a mix tape for area DJ's. But when I returned to the States, I intended on re-mastering the song. I wrote more lyrics and wanted to re-record the vocals...since they were rushed and weren't my best. (After all, I thought we were just playing around with music.)
Alas...time went on and I never got around to it.
But, it still lives on MySpace. So if you want to check it out, CLICK HERE!

  2. An interesting dialogue is price comment. I feel that it is best to write more on this matter, it may not be a taboo topic however usually individuals are not enough to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers. girls wholesale clothes
