Beauty Daily Tip: Get Rid of Post Shaving Redness

Reader Question:
I know it may be TMI...but how do I minimize redness after I shave?

It is not TMI and there is a simple solution.
But first let me explain the reason why you are experiencing redness: it is because you are shaving skin that is too dry.

Whether you are shaving your face, legs or underarms, do it after you have soaked the area with warm water for a few minutes. (You don't even need shaving cream!)

The warm water open the pores and the hair follicles, which will soften hair and make it less coarse and therefore easy to shave...reducing skin irritation.
