You've been locked in the house by consecutive "snow days."
Here's four of my favorite snow day ideas that you can try with your family, or if you are a grown-up and live alone...like me!
on our D-I-Y Difficulty Scale it is #1

Create Snow Art
Bring some color into the outdoor fun. Fill empty spray bottles or liquid dishwasher bottles with food coloring and water, then letting the kids unleash their inner winter wonderland artist! It's really like sidewalk chalk...it will melt away or wash away when the weather changes...but the hours of fun outside can never be matched.
Build a Living Room Campsite
Kids love when their parents flip normal household routines upside down. Creating a campsite in the living the room is the perfect way to take them by surprise! Turn out the lights, wear PJs, bust out the sleeping bags and sit around telling stories. If you don't have a tent, be creative and build a fort using blankets, couch cushions and pillows. Hide marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers in the pantry for snow day s'mores.
After playing in the snow with the kids, gather up clean, freshly fallen snow and bring it inside. Divide it into cups and pour your favorite toppingsm like strawberry syrup, lemon juice, even chocolate & butterscotch. Then...just eat.
Good Old Fashioned Snowman
And finally, the snowman. But get creative with the eyes, nose and accessories. Depending on where you live, your snow friend could last for a week! You want him or her to be stylish on the block.
