Raiding a Candy Store in Brunswick Islands, North Carolina

Brunswick Islands are the coastal islands in the southeastern corner of North Carolina.

I visited most of the islands there, and while passing through Holden Beach, I was invited to see this cute little candy shop Sandman's Candyland.

It was the end of the beach peak season, and shop was closed. The owner wanted to meet us (we were a part of a media trip).

So, she opened the shop and told us to take as much as we like.
Why?
Because it all had to go anyway. They were shutting down for the season!

  1. It certainly could be the incredible water. There are the most beautiful hues of Caribbean and Atlantic blues from clear to light blue to aqua to turquoise to deep bluish-purple to varying oceanic shades of green, I have ever seen.
