It's time to consider Charlottesville, Virginia for your next road trip

When you google Charlottesville, Virginia these days, you'll be overwhelmed with images of the protests of 2017.

Unfortunately, those events overshadow the search when you look up "Charlottesville." So, it is lost on people that it is a place where lovers of history, food, wine and art can enjoy as a destination.

In partnership with Charlottesville tourism, I produced this video to remind you of the culture surrounding the food, beer and wine scene in Albemarle County, Virginia.

And check out this gallery of some of the scenes I explored while in the area.

  1. No doubt Charlottesville is a nice city that has gotten a lot of negative publicity. But that's what living in America. Protests can break out in AnyTown, USA. Never been there but I'm sure it's a nice place. Been to other cities in Virginia and I personally think Virginia is a lovely state.

  2. Love the video. My parents live in VA and I will be adding this to my list of cities to visit.
