Set realistic individual goals
Setting goals can be beneficial, but it’s not always a positive exercise. To reap the rewards, you have to ensure that the targets you have are realistic and relevant to you. Don’t feel that you have to reach certain milestones because that is what others are doing or what society expects. Think about what you want to do and where you want to get to. Then specify your objectives. If you have grand plans in mind, work towards them by crossing off smaller achievements along the way.
