Here's how to make your own.

D-I-Y Scale: 2

Here is what you will need:
  • Pan
  • 1/2 cup of whole flaxseeds
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of aloe Vera gel
  • tongs
  • pantyhose
  • container to store gel
  • mixing bowl
  • 2 teaspoons of jojoba oil

Add your water and flaxseeds in a pan.

Stir them until they come to a boil.

While its boiling for about 2-3 mins prep your makeshift strainer with the pantyhose over your mixing bowl like so.

Once your flaxseeds become frothy then pour them into the strainer bowl.

Carefully remove the pantyhose from around the bowl.

Next you want to use the tongs to strain the gel out more into the bowl.

Add your aloe vera gel and joboba oil

Blend together and add to an air tight container.

Store it in the fridge until you are ready to use it.

  1. I love natural products. But don't know if I'll try this one. It may be too much work. But a very good article, though.
