Travel: Visit Multiple Cities and Pay for Only One

This works particularly well when traveling overseas.

If you want to get more bang for your buck, I have a sneaky little way to get the most out of  fabulous overseas vacation.

It takes a lot of hours to travel overseas; and many people have very limited time off of work for extended stays.
But if your goal is to see the world, you'll have to be more savvy in your approach.

First, pick a destination: Australia, Greece, Morocco...
Don't be shy...the world is your oyster.

Then, check the flight patterns.
If you notice that there are 10-24 hour layovers in fun or obscure cities (especially ones that you have never been before...or maybe you have a friend or cousin in one), then track those flights according to your vacation timeline.

Of course, you want to go for the most affordable...but sometimes you may want to sacrifice a couple hundred bucks if it gives you a night in Rome.

Sure...it is like speed dating your world travel. But when on such a tight schedule, it can be just the adventure you need.

On a recent trip to Greece, I noticed flights that stopped in London, Amsterdam, Rome and Belgium. I selected my outbound flight to stop in Rome, Italy for six hours. It was enough time to pop out of the airport and visit a highly recommended shopping area.

Then on my return, I stayed a night in Amsterdam, where my cousin's best friend hosted me (so I didn't have to pay for a hotel!), and she gave me a quick tour of the town, and in exchange I bought dinner for us at her favorite restaurant.

I had 6 days, and I saw three great European towns.
And oh, by the way, I went by myself!

Would you ever try to this kind of travel adventure?

  1. For our gorilla suit [for the hublot replica movie "Mighty Joe Young"] -- John Alexander played Mighty Joe Young - he [John] found that that thing to omega replica do, 'cause he was wearing not only a body suit to replicate the gorilla's muscle anatomy, he also rolex replica then had a full-hair suit on top of it -- that's hair, that's fur, its really hot -- he found the best thing to do between takes was to stuff a vacuum cleaner hose down into the suit and actually suck the hot air out of the suit, instead of pumping air into prada replica it. He just liked pulling the hot air out -- that would work for him, so that is always an evolving kind of thing.
